I’m a Welsh-based surface pattern designer, painter, and print artist from Cardiff, South Wales, UK. With a mixed Jamaican and Welsh heritage, I often find these cultural influences weaving their way into my work, enriching it with colour, rhythm, and character.
I hold a degree in Fine Art, where I specialised in photography within the print department. During my studies, I explored various printmaking techniques, including lino printing and screen printing—skills that continue to shape my creative process today. After having my three children, I moved my practice into the digital space, initially focusing on wall art before naturally transitioning into repeat pattern design… ideal for someone who can happily doodle for hours!
I’ve always been drawn to the aesthetically pleasing. People often describe my style as quirky—a compliment I embrace, because as artists, we’re always pushing for individuality and visual interest. I adore shapes, expressive forms, vibrant colour pops, and could lose myself in colour charts all day long.
Fruitegg Studio
From this passion, Fruitegg Studio was born—a place where I bring together all the things I love. I create playful prints and repeat patterns for a wide range of businesses, helping them attract customers, clients, and those curious window-shoppers who always return. Seeing people react to my work is endlessly rewarding. It’s energising, even a little intoxicating, and it fuels my desire to keep creating fresh and exciting prints and illustrations.
How I Work
I use a combination of online print-on-demand platforms and marketplaces for physical products. You can find my shops (details on ‘contact’ page) on spoonflower, Redbubble and Zazzle
For licensing, I work through patterned.com or collaborate directly with clients—something I always find inspiring.
